Danvi and The Gliders was a one time project of Danny Galarza and Davi, both ex-members of the alternative rock band Scoff (1994-1998). After losing touch following the breakup of Scoff and becoming side-tracked by their own musical ventures, Danny and Davi started talking about playing music together again and in the summer of 2002 sessions began for Danvi and The Gliders.
With less than a week to get everything done and no specific direction to follow, The Gliders project was rushed and met with many questions regarding any sort of release. The album was recorded in a small storage room in Puerto Rico with extreme hot temperatures, severe humidity and they were under much mental exhaustion. Experimental, funny and unpredictable the self-titled album was given a limited release in the fall of 2003.
