3.16.10: We are based out of Wareham, MA. We focus on releasing demos, b-sides, music by our close friends' bands and material by bands that have broken up whose music never got the online attention it deserved. This is NOT the place to come for money! We front the costs for releasing your album digitally (artwork and everything) after we receive a COPY of your master. Once we make our investment back, you make full profit.
If you have released your album independently and would just like to become a part of our community, get in touch with us and we will make a page for you on our official site (prounderground.com) with your Bio, CD release info, pictures and links to your Myspace and Facebook pages etc. We will also add you to our Facebook page as an artist that's part of our community and add your info there as well. We are very independent and have a hands on do-it-yourself ethic. We don't handle promotional campaigns and we do not book shows.
This label is about working to build a community of honest artists bound to destroy the creative leash enforced by major labels. If you want us to release your music digitally, there are no formal contracts involved. Just a form granting us permission to release your music digitally. If you don't want our label to release your music, then just tell us you would like to join our community of artists. No ties to us. Amen. Contact us.
