Scoff consisted of Davi (vocals, guitar), Danny Galarza (bass, vocals) and Francisco Garcia aka Pancho (drums). Their first gig was at a high school talent show where they performed a song called "Why?" under the name Half-Eaten-Bread with Danny on lead vocals. Not long after their first show Davi taught Danny how to play bass and the rest is history.
Scoff would tape all their rehearsals and were constantly coming up with new songs. They performed at birthday parties, talent shows, water parks, garages and street corners. Unfortunately, after graduating high school they had no other choice but to disband.
Dozens of tapes and videos with live footage were archived, but poor judgment and carelessness led to the loss of almost all of the band's work.
In 2003 Pro-Underground Records® released a compilation album which includes a live performance from 1996 and every Scoff rehearsal from the 1997-1998 era. The compilation gives great insight into what Scoff was all about but unfortunately, many hours worth of great recordings will never be heard.
